이번에는 dispose가 가진 여러 뜻과 관련된 단어를 알아보겠습니다.

Dispose V. 1. 배치하다. 배열하다 (=arrange)
                    The kids disposed their toys in the order of size.
                    그 장난감들이 크기 순으로 배치했다.
                   
                    2. (~of) (~을) 처분하다. 처리하다.
                    Dispose of your old clothes right now.
                    너의 낡은 옷들을 당장 처분해라.
                    He can dispose of many projects at the same time.
                    그는 동시에 여러 개의 프로젝트를 처리할 수 있다.

 

1. disposable: adj) 일회용의 (주로, 명사 앞에서만 사용하는 형용사)

2. disposal: n) 처분(권), 처리, 매각

                  오늘의 의제는 폐기물 처리입니다.

 

3. disposition: n) 1. 기질, 성품 (=temperament)

                                2. 배치, 배열 (=arrangement)

The man has a social and gentle disposition. 그 남자는 사교적이고 온화적 성품을 가진다.

극장에서 영화를 즐기기 위해서는 좌석 배치가 중요하다.
